<span itemprop="description">This is the first time I am leaving a negative review. There are a couple of places in the instructions that were very unclear and I had to go back and do a couple of minor rebuilds. However, the main problem was with how many pieces are attached in a less than secure fashion. I had to glue at least 10 or 15 pieces. I am sure I followed the directions correctly. I actually put a Do Not Touch sign where the Porsche is displayed. I have done quite a few complicated builds including: BMW Motorcycle, Yamaha Motorcycle, Chevy Camaro, Mustang, Corvette and various other sets. This was the only set that was so frustrating. I came close to not finishing. The finished project does look good.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a fantastic model where every detail is thought out. I built the Turbo version and expect at some point to go back and redo it as a Targa. I love that option as both versions have a unique style. Having seen a finished Turbo version it looks amazing as a show piece. I actually swapped out the black Turbo rims for the silver Targa ones because I like the look better. There are also no stickers whatsoever, every logo is printed and looks amazing so the quality is there. It really does give one satisfaction to press in the lettered Porsche logo at the back rather than a sticker.
It holds together very well when put together properly. My young son has had his hands all over it and it stays together, which is the ultimate test for any of my legos! I had a build issue similar to a one star reviewer where the windshield doesn’t connect well. I double checked my build and found I had misplaced a couple of crucial pieces. So if you have issues make sure you go back and double check every piece. I took a build point off for a distorted piece that I have to reorder that doesn’t fit well and creates a gap at the back (see second photo). Lego’s reordering of replacement or missing pieces has always been great so I’m not too fussed. That being said, it still takes away from the build.
All in all I highly recommend this build, Lego has done an incredible job of recreating an iconic car.</span>
